Poetry
po·et·ry /ˈpōətrē/ noun
literary work in which special intensity is given to the expression of feelings and ideas by the use of distinctive style and rhythm; poems collectively or as a genre of literature.
Writing poetry and music has allowed me to become an alchemist and turn my story into forms of art.
it melts on your tongue. an arrow straight through the sternum cracking the bone in half, opening the ribs releasing thousands of butterflies, angels and demons that were being held in a cage. the rib cage wide open, sore and gushing blood as the heart still beats searching for its echo. its other half. it's whole. whole heartedly waiting for a beat in return.
ENAMORADOSIS SYMPTOMS|
Maybe it's better that we're apart.
Maybe it should have been that way from a start.
But i hope its not just me.
Who wishes we were a family.
These canyons underneath my eyes
are from all the times that I've cried
I know how much it really hurt
to be the people that we were
and maybe we still are
Kids with invisible scars.
we're the children with the broken smiles
we're the children who run away and hide
we're the children who are always scared
Because there was no one by our side.
FAMILY
her scripture
"....the solstice began, her soul bathed under the falls of gold, pure sunshine dripping down her spine. her lips soft and warm, welcoming the first summer day....."
life
living life in opulence
wasting all our time
forgetting words
forgetting songs
forgetting how to rhyme
wishing you were someone else
wishing you had it all
climbing to the top of it
and you start to fall
then someone says
all along you had it all
all along enough
forget the money and
the strife and
venture into the possibilities of life
